Women of the J High Holiday Virtual Cooking Class with Leah Koenig

Women of the J High Holiday Virtual Cooking Class with Leah Koenig

Women of the J, a program of the Boulder JCC, welcomes you to our online cooking program for the holidays.

With the High Holidays approaching, the Break-Fast is the anticipated after-fast meal that we eat at the end of Yom Kippur. Many celebrate with a festive meal consisting of traditional foods. Learn to make this year’s celebration uniquely delicious in Break-Fast 2.0 Cooking Class on Thursday, September 2 at 6 pm MST with celebrated cookbook author Leah Koenig (“The Jewish Cookbook,” “Modern Jewish Cooking). Join Leah for an online demonstration that explores the fascinating history and evolution of the break-fast. The recipes for Jam and Poppy Seed Kugel and Smoked Salmon Hash with Lemon-Mint Vinaigrette will be distributed in advance for those who are interested in cooking along with Leah.
