This Week at Nevei Kodesh, April 16-21

Nevei Kodesh, a warm and welcoming Jewish Renewal Community invites you to join us virtually for prayer, study and connection!


Kabbalat Shabbat and Friday night Service, Friday, April 16, 7:00 – 8:30 pm 
Led by Ba’al Tefilah Michelle Wolf, with musical leadership by Susan Berman. Join in prayer and song to welcome Shabbat, and to explore the practice of sanctuary—creating safe dwelling for others, and for the Holy One inside ourselves. Shabbat Morning Four Worlds Mediation and Gentle Movement for anyBody, Saturday, April 17, 10:30-noon

This experiential practice will allow you to traverse the Four Worlds of body, mind, heart and soul in a relaxing and rejuvenating Shabbat experience. We will use a combination of breathing, Jewish meditation, gentle movement for anyBODY and using intention and visualization with yoga nidra.meditation as a part of this offering. Weekly Torah Study, Saturday, April 17, 4:00 – 5:30 pm

Chanting: Centering Around our Divine Connection, Wednesday, April 21, 5:50-7pm.  Led by Ziva Moyal. We use sacred verses from the Bible with prayerful melodies (mostly from Rabbi Shefa Gold), to ‘call’ God, and affirm our relationship with the Divine. Chanting is an uplifting practice that fills our hearts with joy and our bodies with healing light. The event is free… Donations to Nevei Kodesh accepted.  Click here for more details and to register.
