Moishe House Boulder Announces July Events

As things are opening up, Moishe House Boulder announces the following events happening in July:

Maariv Minyan
Tuesday,  July 13th 7:30 – 9:00 pm

Michelle will be leading a rousing Maariv (evening) prayer and meditation service, and you are welcome to join us! We’ll be singing lots of traditional melodies and also more modern tunes. Bring your friends, because we need 10 people to make a minyan (congregation of people for the prayer service).

Classic Shabbat
Friday, July 16th 7:30 – 9:30 pm

Join us for an evening of wonderful company and savory home cooked food as we bring in Shabbat in alllll the classic ways! Feel free to bring a friend along too!

Tisha B’Av Film Screening: 40 Days of Tishuva
Sunday, July 18th, 4 – 7 pm

We will be hosting a film screening and discussion of the film “40 Days of Teshuvah” from the Inside Out Wisdom and Action (IOWA) Project. The film centers around Jewish Spirituality and Justice alongside Yehudah Webster, an organizer with Jews for Racial and Economic Justice in NYC. The documentary focuses on a forty-day racial justice action that Yehduah led in Brooklyn called 40 Days of Teshuvah (trailer here).  Learn more about their work and the short film at InsideOutWisdomAndAction.org/40days

Breakfast Shabbat

MoHo Goes to the Renaissance Festival!
Sunday, July 25th 8:30 am – 4:30 pm

What sounds better than spending a day dressing in a fun fancy costume and eating corn on a stick?

Genuinely, nothing. 

Come join us at Colorado’s Renaissance Fair! It will be a fun-filled day of rides, tasty snacks, and general merriment!
