Louisville Celebrates Chanukah on Ice

On Tuesday night, November 30, 2021, the Jewish community gathered at Winterskate in Louisville to celebrate the third night of Chanukah, in person, for the first time since 2019.

A local business owner with deep ties to the Boulder Jewish Community, Joey Gindi, served as Lamplighter, and Rabbi Pesach Scheiner led a group of children in singing the Dreidel song. There was hot cocoa and sufganyot for the attendees, numbered near one hundred.

The event was hosted by the Boulder County Center for Judaism, and the Boulder JCC. Additional Sponsors were JEWISHcolorado, Schad Farmers Insurance, Ed and Julie Victor, Boulder Jewish News, and WinterSkate.
