JFS Boulder Welcomes Jennifer Banyan as New Director

Jennifer Banyan, MSW, has joined JFS Boulder as the director. As a consultant for many years, Jennifer has collaborated with large organizations, foundations, and government agencies to provide leadership and subject matter expertise regarding food insecurity, Medicaid, basic human needs, housing, and safety net services.

She was instrumental in designing, developing, and producing The Colorado Blueprint to End Hunger. Jennifer also served as the Self-Sufficiency & Community Support Division Director of Boulder County Housing and Human Services.  She has a BA from DePauw University in Sociology and a master’s degree in Social Work from Indiana University.

Jennifer works with the Boulder team to continue delivering the support they have been providing to the greater Boulder community prior to and during the pandemic, and leads the vision, direction, and strategy towards strengthening and expanding the programs and services provided.
