Nevei Kodesh is pleased to introduce our new Director of Family Life, Hazzan Shayndel Adler.
As an ordained cantor through the Aleph Ordination Program, she trained in the lineage of Jewish Renewal for over a decade. She served as a cantor for approximately ten years in Reform, Renewal and Conservative congregations and also as an educator and school administrator in Jewish and secular settings in California for over twenty years. She has a BA in Liberal Studies/Elementary Education, Waldorf Education teacher certification, is and ordained Kohenet (Jewish Priestess/earth-based ritual facilitator) and a healing practitioner.
She is inspired by the successful experiential religious school curriculum that CNK already has in place for our new school year and looks forward to supporting its ongoing growth and development in a safe and welcoming environment that encourages connection, joy, curiosity, creativity and deep and meaningful learning.
In her free time, she is settling into her new home in Denver with her husband and their four children; tending to her flower garden, facilitating sound healings, singing lessons and composing Hebrew chants.
