Boulder JCC Offering “Hopeful Birds” Clay Workshops

Join ceramic artist and instructor Rita Vali for a hands-on workshop, as we form, decorate, and glaze “Hopeful Birds”.

Participants will learn to make two birds. One of them will be part of a flock that will be installed at the Boulder JCC  to celebrate our community coming back together in person again. The other is yours to keep and to spread hope on your own.

Rita Vali loves teaching ceramics and making art accessible to a wide audience. Her art projects inform and inspire connection on many levels and are themselves a celebration of color and life. More information about Hopeful Birds can be found at Hopefulbirds.org. The artist’s website is http://ritavali.com/and she can also be found on Facebook and Instagram.  This project has been featured in articles in both the Daily Camera and Ceramics Monthly

No experience is required, and all materials will be provided.

This workshop will be offered three times – Please sign up for one of the dates below. The registration fee is $60 per class.
