Boulder JCC Invites You to an Outdoor Music Concert

The Boulder JCC is excited to announce an upcoming in-person outdoor concert featuring Boulder’s own Cultural Caravan. The program is truly eclectic and includes everything from Bach to bluegrass, folk to Brazilian music. The group features Joshua Halpern on cello, Andrew Wilder on guitar, and Paul Erhard on bass.

Joshua Halpern, cello, has appeared on stages around the world as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral principal cellist. Josh completed graduate studies at The Curtis Institute in Philadelphia, where he performed throughout the United States, Europe, and Latin America with “Curtis On Tour”. He was also the principal cello of the Curtis Symphony Orchestra.

Andrew Wilder, guitar, is currently pursuing a DMA in Guitar Performance at the University of Colorado Boulder. Wilder has given concerts throughout the United States and Mexico, Europe, and South America. He has been the recipient of several awards, including first prizes in the Guitar Competition of Society of American Musicians, the International Tennessee Guitar Competition, and the University of Louisville International Guitar Competition.

Paul Erhard, bass, is a soloist, chamber musician, and improviser. He premiered the Subramaniam Double Concerto for violin and double bass with the composer on violin and the CU Symphony Orchestra. Paul is a professor of double bass at the CU Boulder College of Music.

  • Although this is a free event, registration is required. Register early as space is limited.
  • Seating arrangements are made on a first-come first-served basis, by household (everyone living at your address). Each household needs to register separately. 
  • Registrants will be emailed the Boulder JCC’s health and safety protocols prior to the program.
  • This is a “leave no trace, zero-waste” event. You must leave with what you bring.
