Bob Korngold, father of Rabbi Jamie Korngold, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2021, at the age of 89. He did not die of COVID, but just of a life well-lived. 

Bob is survived by Rabbi Jamie Korngold and her sister K.T. Korngold, Rabbi Jamie’s children Sadie and Ori and K.T.’s children Sarah and Emma. Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Carole, in November, 2019.

We celebrate Bob, and his commitment to family, community, the development of youth and his marvelous presence, energy and engagement…

There will be a private military funeral at Ft Logan. We will meet online to honor Bob’s life and support his family.

Korngold “Morah Chaya” scholarship fund.  This fund which was established to honor Bob’s wife and Rabbi Jamie’s mother will enable children to attend religious school, who cannot afford it and recognize the. Korngolds’ passion for children, education, and community.
