Annual Ritual Celebration of Cinema Observed at Home Starting Today

Why is this festival different than all other festivals, you may be wondering?

On all other festivals we watch and discuss movies together at the Dairy. On this festival we recline in the comfort of our homes.

While waiting for the plague to pass over, we choose life by staying safe. When we are freed from this bondage of isolation we will celebrate with timbrels and tamborines.

But tonight, as the annual 11-day holiday observance begins, our ritual celebration of cinema will look different. Films still illuminate our path, but this holiday week they will light up our living room TV screens.

The amazing guests who will sit around our table as we tell our stories and remember who we are is a cause for great rejoicing this year. The anticipation of exceptional  conversation is a source of comfort as we reshape our communal sharing into a virtual experience.

Please join us for a feast of films and the joy of discovery. May your festival be meaningful.

Next year at the Dairy!
