Alayna Burger will celebrate her B-Mitzvah with Beth Ami-Colorado Congregation for Humanistic Judaism on Saturday, October 23, 2021. Alayna will demonstrate learning and compassion by relating her seven most important Jewish values, focusing on egalitarianism and inclusion. She will share her research on Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, honor her grandparents by telling their stories, and explain her tikkun olam projects. She will also display her musicianship by providing piano accompaniment for the Shabbat service and leading her guests in Hine Ma Tov.
The Beth Ami community appreciates Alayna’s hard work and welcomes her into the Jewish community-at-large, and as an active participant in the congregation.
