Penny Friedberg, MBA, MS is a life-long advocate for a personal nutrition program based on whole real foods. She has been a professor at Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH) since 2010 where she continues to teach nutrition online while currently living in Boulder, Colorado.

Often considered to be a condition affecting older generations, heart disease and other associated illnesses are on the rise across all age groups. That is why Heart Awareness Month is so important to us all. It is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the warning signs and symptoms as well as the changes we can make in our everyday lives to mitigate risk to our heart.
