Friday, May 8, 8:00 am – Torah Yoga with Caron Robinson – Come get ready for Shabbat in the best way, with CBS member Caron Robinson for a gentle and Torah-filled yoga class. Bring your mat, things to use for support, a strap, and a blanket. Pre-register for this event as it is through the JCC.
Friday, May 8, 4:30 pm – KabbalabaZOOM – Join Rabbi Marc and Bonai’s Musical Director Michael Miller and other musicians for some spirited singing to bring us joyfully into Shabbat. Maybe there will even be an appearance by Mikey Monster!
Friday, May 8, 5:45 pm – Community Kabbalat Shabbat and Shmooze – Take part in some truly soulful and joyful singing to welcome in Shabbat. This week we are joined by Bonai’s former Musical Director Eitan Kantor! Shmooze at 5:45 pm. Services at 6:00 pm.

Sunday, May 10, 10:00 am – Virtual Tour of Beit Hatfutsot – The Museum of the Jewish People at Beit Hatfutsot in Tel Aviv invites groups of all ages around the world to join innovative and groundbreaking online tours, all within the span of one class period. In the online live session, your group will be able to tour the museum in Tel Aviv with a museum educator from the comfort of a smartphone or computer. You will be able to explore the Jewish world, and participate in a fascinating and interactive tour of our Hallelujah! Assemble, Pray, Study – Synagogues Past and Present. Monday, May 11, 5:30 pm – Mussar Class – Are you interested in a transformational journey that provides an approach to spirituality that is applicable to everyday life and accessible to all regardless of Jewish/Hebrew knowledge? Mussar offers opportunities for personal growth engaging with character strengths and how we walk through the world within the context of a Jewish lens. The middah being studied is Emunah / Trustworthiness.

Wednesday, May 13, 12:00 pm – Talmud Class with Rabbi Marc – Beginners are welcome and this class is open to learners of all levels: you don’t need to be able to read Hebrew to take this class. Talmud is a philosophical, legal, and story-filled Rabbinic conversation that was created and compiled from the first to sixth centuries CE. It is the Oral Torah. It is a commentary on the Bible. It is radical and it is the blueprint of the Jewish mind and spirit.
