Torah Yoga with Caron Robinson – Friday May 1, 8:00am – Join Caron Robinson Friday mornings at 8am for a healing and Torah-inspired yoga session. If you can, get your mat, a blanket or two, a tennis ball or something slightly softer, and a strap. This class is run through the JCC’s zoom, so please pre-register beforehand! And Caron is preparing to offer yoga for older adults, if this is something that interests you, email Caron at caronrnr@me.com.

Happy Birthday Israel! Yom Ha’Atzmaouth Family Celebration – Sunday, May 3, 10:30am – Join us in celebrating Israel’s 72nd birthday! There will be songs, games, and stories with Rabbi Marc and Esther.

Talmud Class with Rabbi Marc – Wednesday, May 6, 12:00pm – Beginners are welcome and this class is open to learners of all levels: you don’t need to be able to read Hebrew to take this class. Talmud is a philosophical, legal, and story-filled Rabbinic conversation that was created and compiled from the first to sixth centuries CE. It is the Oral Torah. It is a commentary on the Bible. It is radical and it is the blueprint of the Jewish mind and spirit.

Bonai Writing Circle with Rabbi Marc and Barbra Cohn – Thursday, May 7, 6:30pm – If you’ve been yearning to write but never seem to have the time, or if you’re interested in writing with other creatives, you’ll now have a space and time to put pen to paper. No judgments, no critiquing, just friendly support . We’ll be using Natalie Goldberg’s device of short meditations followed by timed writings with suggested prompts.

Conversational Hebrew – Thursday, May 7, 6:30pm – You’ll learn the skills necessary for introductions, ordering at a restaurant, buying things at shops, etc. Newcomers welcome!
