
Members of the Colorado Hebrew Chorale and its women’s choir Kol Nashim continue to be on hiatus from rehearsals and performances due to the COVID-19 situation. The Chorale continues to offer its exciting virtual enrichment activities that are free and open to the community. The second program of our virtual monthly series: L’Chaim – A Taste of Jewish Music from – Anywhere! will be held Monday, September 14, 2020, 7:30 pm MDT during the Hebrew month of Elul . Attendees will “travel” to Morocco together with guest presenter, Dr. Vaness Paloma Elbaz, who will share Jewish music and food with a High Holidays in Morocco theme.
The series continues during the Hebrew months of Tishrei, Cheshvan and Kislev with the focus on exotic locations. During chol ha-mo’ed Sukkot, on Monday, October 5, 7:30 pm MDT, attendees will “travel” to India with Rahel Musleah. On November 9 (Cheshvan) we will visit Anatevka with the Zalman Mlotek, music director of “Fiddler, in Yiddish,” The destination for December 14 (Chanukah – Kislev) will be announced..

This unique “travel and sample” cultural offering is free and open to the public but advance registration is required. Participants will receive the links to repertoire and recipes prior to the presentations. Registration includes all events in the series.
