JTree Update – July 2020

THANK YOU, BOULDER!

JTree received over 600 trees from Boulder in June!

Contributions came from Har Hashem, Bonai Shalom, Adventure Judaism and many individuals.

That’s Tree-Fabulous!

Updates:

  • We had 621 tree donations from Boulder in June for Father’s Day!
  • B’nai mitzvah students are incorporating JTree in d’varim torah

Opportunities:

  • Play Boulder Foundation is training Tree Tenders – a training program to help us maintain our trees this summer. More info here: Tree Tender Training Fall 2020
  • Community Fruit Rescue – checking to see the need
  • Check about pine cone seed balls,
  • Forest service tree planting days (maybe some this fall)
  • Boulder cross-congregation Dayenu circle is forming – Jewish Climate Action organization. Pease contact Diana if interested in learning more.
  • Coloring is fun for kids of all ages: Tree art pages here and here.
