Join the Drives for Blood and Food and Masks at the BJCC

The Boulder JCC is proud to partner with local community organizations in hosting several community service events in the upcoming weeks. All events will be held at the Boulder JCC (6007 Oreg Avenue, Boulder).

If you are able, please join us at one or more of these events!

Blood Drive – Wednesday, June 17

Donate at the JCC/Vitalant blood drive on Wednesday, June 17 from 11 am – 3 pm. The drive will be held in Levin Hall following social distancing guidelines. Masks/face coverings are required.

Blood donation is an essential health care activity and we need your help to make sure patients  in our community have the blood they need!

To schedule your donation, call 303-363-2300 or visit donors.vitalant.org and use Blood Drive Code 10219 to schedule. This blood drive is open to the public. Appointments are required.

Vitalant is now testing blood donations for COVID-19 antibodies.

  • Do not donate if you are sick. This antibody test does not test for the presence of COVID-19 disease
  • All successful donations will be tested for antibodies to SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19
  • Donors can view results in your online donor account 2 weeks after you donate

Note: Due to the significant cost of this test, reward points are suspended for the time being (except for apheresis donors, who give specific blood components via special equipment).
