Torah Study – Saturday, July 11 – 9:00 am

Torah is our greatest gift! But it isn’t reserved just for rabbis. It is accessible and inspirational to all. Young and not-so-young, experienced and new-comers, all are welcome to explore the Torah portion of the week with Rabbi Greene and volunteers who will take turns to explore the Truths to help make meaning in our lives.

Havdalah – Saturday, July 11 – 8:15 pm

Havdalah marks the transition from sacred to ordinary time. We’ll gather online for this short ceremony, share some reflections and prepare for the week to come.

Zionist Beit Midrash – Tuesday, July 14 – 12:00 pm

As the URJ (Union for Reform Judaism) begins to develop our leadership network we are offering this opportunity to join us on a textual journey exploring the big questions of our day, namely: Why should we, as American Reform Jews, have a connection and relationship with Israel? The Beit Midrash will be lead by Rabbi Josh Weinberg, Executive Director of ARZA-The Reform Zionist Movement, with occasional guest teachers and speakers.

Weekly Morning Minyan – Wednesday, July 15 – 7:30 am

Make morning prayer part of your daily workout. Start your day with prayer or join with others to say kaddish for a loved one in our new, weekday service. The service will be lay-led.

Rebirth After the Holocaust: The Bergen-Belsen Displaced Persons Camp, 1945-1950 with Jean Bloch Rosensaft – Wednesday, July 15 – 1:00 pm

The largest Jewish refugee camp in post-war Germany, this vibrant self-governed community’s political, cultural, religious, educational, and social activities renewed the survivors’ return to life and played a pivotal role in the struggle for the creation of the State of Israel. Through archival film, photographs, and documents, learn how the survivors’ resilience and optimism offer us stories of hope and healing for our day.

Surviving to Thriving Parenting with Dan Fox – Wednesday, July 15 – 6:00 pm

Help your child thrive. Boost your parenting skills by learning calm and productive strategies to guide children through this strange time. 

Licensed Counselor Dan Fox and Katherine Schwartz will provide brain-based parenting tips in sync with Jewish values. It will benefit you, your child, your family, and our whole community.

Zioness Book Club: Pamela Nadell’s America’s Jewish Women – Wednesday, July 15 – 6:00 pm

Join Zioness for our next Zioness Book Club with Pamela Nadell, American historian, researcher, author, and lecturer. We’ll discuss her book, America’s Jewish Women: A History from Colonial Times to Today, which weaves together the complex story of Jewish women in America―from colonial-era matriarch Grace Nathan and her great-granddaughter, poet Emma Lazarus, to Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg―and recounts how Jewish women have been at the forefront of social, economic, and political causes for centuries. Register HERE:
