Important Call to the Community for Shabbat

This Shabbat most of us will be spending Shabbat at home.  Even the Synagogues worldwide are closed!  The Talmud teaches us that the Shabbos has tremendous power to bring healing to the world.

We all have a choice, we can remain attached to social media and be constantly reminded of the great dangers that lurk at our doors or we can detach and enjoy a beautiful Shabbat by having traditional Shabbat Family meals, discussing the Torah portion or some good Jewish Torah book and spending quality time with our loved ones.

We URGE all of you to keep as much of the Shabbat properly.  We especially call on all Jewish women and girls to light the Shabbat candles 18 minutes before sunset at or before 7:03 pm this Friday in Boulder, CO.  When the Jewish women light the Shabbos candles she brings the peace and tranquility of Shabbos into her home and the world at large!

We are now in a stage that people urgently need the blessings of the Shabbos!

Please do your part!

PS. The blessing on the candles is..Baruch atah ..Lehadlik Ner Shel Shabbat

Sincerely,

Rabbi Pesach Scheiner
