Celebrate the New Year of Chassidism

This Saturday and Sunday, is the Chassidic holiday of Yud Tes Kislev which marks the Yartzeit of the Maggid of Mezritch and the release of the first Chabad Rebbe Rabbi Schneur Zalman from Czarist Russian prison on trumped up charges by his opponents. This day is called the New Year of Chassidism.

Join us on Sunday, December 6, at 5:30 pm either live with social distancing or virtually for an evening of song and Chassidic teachings in honor of the Chassidic holiday of Yud-Tes Kislev.  A light dinner will be followed by a farbrengen led by Rabbi Pesach Scheiner.  There is no charge for this special event, but rsvp’s are needed. Rsvp: boulderjudaism@gmail.com or 720-422-6776.  If you would like the zoom link, please email us: boulderjudaism@gmail.com

About Chany Scheiner

Co - Director of Boulder Center for Judaism. Any successful organization needs a heart and that is what Chany provides, along with organization, marketing, innovative programming, and countless Shabbat dinners. Some of her accomplishments are large and public like the annual menorah lighting on Pearl Street and the matzo and shofar factories, while others are quiet and private like the time she spends counseling individuals and sharing the wisdom that comes from study.
