The Boulder JCC is excited to celebrate Chanukah with you and your family. Please join us for one of our upcoming holiday programs. All programs are virtual.
Take your latkes to the next level by learning to make home made apple sauce along with our farmers from Milk and Honey Farm this Sunday, December 6 at 10 am. On Wednesday, December 9 at 6:30 pm, cook along with Mitten Lowe in a Sufganiyot (donuts) class. These donuts are a delicious and traditional favorite for the holidays. The class includes a Gluten Free option.
Kick off the holiday with the Community Candle Lighting on Thursday, December 10 at 5:30 pm. Join the Boulder County Center for Judaism for virtual latkes and music by Steve Brodsky.
Celebrate with our Milk and Honey Farm goats at Farmside Chanukah/Shabbat on Friday, December 11 at 10 am and/or 4:15 pm.
On Saturday, December 12 at 6 pm, join us for a Camp Chanukah Havdalah with staff from all our Colorado camps: Cherryvale Day Camp, Shwayder Camp, JCC Ranch Camp, and Ramah of the Rockies. This event will also include singing, crafts, and an escape room.
Sunday, December 13 is a fun-filled day of celebration! Start the day by learning about the importance of tzedakah at the Latkes & Light program at 10 am featuring educators from Jewish Explorers, Judaism Your Way, Staenberg-Loup Jewish Community Center, and PJ Library.
At 4 pm on Sunday, get out your dancing shoes for an interactive virtual Chanukah concert with Jeff and Paige.
Celebrate the 5th night with Adventure Rabbi Jamie Korngold on Monday, December 14 at 5:30 pm with crafts and a reading of her book, “Sadie’s Almost Marvelous Menorah”.
On Tuesday, December 15 at 5 pm, join Itai Divinsky from Jewish Colorado to learn about the unique ways in which Chanukah is celebrated around the world.
The holiday ends on Thursday, December 17 at 5:30 pm with a joyous night of Chanukah Songs & Stories with Music Leah and Caroline Saliman!
