Cathy Summer, LCSW

Cathy Summer, LCSW, former JFS Boulder manager, recently joined the JFS Boulder team as a part-time therapist. Summer comes with a wealth of skill and experience working with older adults and other specialized populations. She has developed a deep understanding of the challenges faced by her clients and their loved ones through her experience in private practice as a psychotherapist and her previous work with JFS Boulder.

Summer also has vast experience in grief counseling and currently co-facilitates the virtual JFS Boulder grief support group. Kammi Siemens, JFS Boulder director, says, “Because Cathy is a dedicated therapist and a seasoned group facilitator, we are thrilled to have her join our team as a part-time therapist.”

She is now accepting clients via teletherapy, which uses a variety of technologies to deliver virtual services by connecting therapists with clients by phone or through an online video call. To learn more about counseling services, please contact Cathy Summer at csummer@jewishfamilyservice.org or 720.248.4687.
