On Monday, August 12th, 2019 (11 Av 5779), Noah Sodie, son of Beth and Eron Sodie, will be called before the congregation as a Bar Yisrael with Adventure Judaism. A Bar Yisrael is an alternative Bar Mitzvah experience, offering a coming of age ceremony without intensive Hebrew.
