Mittlemans Lamplighters for Lafayette Menorah Lighting

The Mittleman family, led by patriarch David Mittleman, lit the giant menorah in Lafayette for night 5 of Chanukah Thursday night. David and his wife Lisa moved to Lafayette from Kansas City last year to join other family living in Boulder and Superior, and are taking active part in their new Jewish community.

At the event held in Festival Square, Old Town, adults and kids enjoyed a magic show, sufganyot and hot chocolate, and kids got light up Chanukah yo-yos. Rabbi Pesach Scheiner gave a teaching about Chanukah, and the Mittlemans came up to do their lighting duties.

This event was hosted by the Boulder County Center for Judaism, and sponsored by Evie Cohen Realty and Lafayette Music, without whose assistance it would not be possible.
