Men’s Event Has Moo-ved Venues… The Boulder Bus Will Get You There

Men’s Event Gets A “Re-Boot” with A New Location, New Focus

JEWISHcolorado’s Men’s Event promises to be a whole new experience this November. With a signature moo-ve to a new location, a condensed, dynamic program, and innovative cocktail hour, Men’s Event will be 2019’s premier schmooze event for Colorado’s Jewish men.

Plus, no saddle ups required. We’ve got your travel covered with the Boulder Bus! Read on for more details.

WHAT: A cocktail hour, dinner buffet, program and keynote speaker. Thanks to the generosity of the Mizel Family Foundation, there is no cost to attend. A minimum gift of $180 to JEWISHcolorado’s Flagship Fund is requested, which supports JEWISHcolorado’s work in providing a pathway for Coloradans to connect with the Jewish people and our shared values. All food served will observe dietary laws. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options will be available.

WHEN: Wednesday, November 13, 6 pm-9 pm.

WHY: Enjoy a fun and focused evening of community, camaraderie and connection. Men’s Event is one of JEWISHcolorado’s signature fundraisers to support Colorado’s Jewish community and raises much needed funding every year for Jewish people locally, in Israel, and around the world.

WHERE: Men’s Event has moo-ved to the National Western Complex Event Center, a nod to Denver’s Western roots and a salute to the innovative redevelopment project, the National Western Center.  This new project represents a community of partnerships, offering educational opportunities for Coloradans and aligning with JEWISHcolorado’s mission and values.  We have chosen this venue with the intention of being part of the innovation and partnerships being built in this historic Denver neighborhood.

WHO:  The dynamic keynote speaker, Dr. Jonathan Schanzer, is one of the foremost experts on Iran and the threat it poses to the United States, Israel and American allies.  He has spent his career tracking Iran-backed terrorist groups, including Hamas, Hezbollah and Palestinian Islamic Jihad. As the Senior Vice President for Research for the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD), he has had such an impact on U.S. policy that Iran recently announced sanctions against him and his FDD colleagues.

HOW TO REGISTER: Reserve your space at www.JEWISHcolorado.org/MensEvent!  You can also sign up to be a Table Captain on this site and host your friends to make sure they don’t miss this great evening. Registration will close on Monday, November 11 at 10 am.

BOULDER BUS: NO SADDLE UPS REQUIRED!!: JEWISHcolorado is pleased to offer  bus transportation for our friends in Boulder. The bus will depart from Har HaShem at 4:45 sharp. The ride will be shorter this year, due to the venue change, and we will offer refreshments and snacks along the way. Registration is required. Registration for the bus is required and can be completed as part of your event registration at www.jewishcolorado.org/mensevent.

A very special thank you to Mizel Family Foundations for generously underwriting this event as well as to Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schrek, LLP for additional support. Thank you to David Mandarich for sponsoring the event’s pre-receptions.
