Learn About Eco-Kashrut at Congregation Bonai Shalom

Congregation Bonai Shalom wants to make Eco-Kosher living easy with this workshop! Teacher Ayla Woodward will focus on breaking down preconceived notions of traditional kashrut by creating a better understanding of how kashrut values can be applied to modern, environmentally focused Judaism.

In additional to learning, we will cook dishes that use seasonal produce and eat them for lunch together at the end. We will learn to make a squash soup, cabbage base pot stickers, and orange scones. Recipes will be provided as well as resources to support you in any changes that you may want to make in your own home.

Please RSVP and note there is a $10 materials fee. This series is sponsored by a generous grant through Hazon.  January 27, 10:00 am at 1527 Cherryvale Rd. Boulder, CO.
