Congregation Har HaShem’s Community as Family group will be hosting a talk by Dr. Jenni Skyler on “Intimacy as We Age,” on June 24th at 11:00 am at Har HaShem.
Jenni Skyler, Phd, LMFT, CST is an AASECT certified sex therapist, board certified sexologist, and a licensed marriage and family therapist. She has been the Director of The Intimacy Institute for sex and relationship therapy in Boulder, Colorado for over nine years. She holds a doctorate in Clinical Sexology and a Master of Education in Counseling Psychology and Marriage and Family Therapy. In addition, Dr. Jenni offers sexological wisdom and advice as the in-house Resident Expert at Adam & Eve – America’s largest sex toy company.
Community as Family is a support group for people 55 or older, living alone, and distant from family, providing a sense of extended family to people who might need more information, assistance, and emotional support as they age alone. Meetings alternate between hosting relevant speakers and resource-gathering with taking time to get to know each other and making lasting and meaningful connections.
