Get Some Cash to Make Your “Green” Dreams Come True!

Hazon in Colorado is awarding $20,000+ in mini-grants for projects that will make the Colorado Jewish community healthier and more sustainable. They have opened their annual request for proposals. All applications are due by July 31st at 11:59 pm MST.

Applicants can apply for grants in amounts ranging from $250 to $2,500. Organizations and individuals are eligible to apply. The mini-grant program inspires and grows a range of programs in the Boulder/Denver area that utilize Jewish outdoor, food, farming, and environmental education (JOFEE), to support the growing JOFEE movement. To qualify, projects must help to create healthier and more sustainable communities in the Colorado Jewish community and individual Jewish lives.

Start a Jewish garden! Makes changes to your institution’s food purchasing practices! Reduce the carbon footprint of your synagogue! Host a series of Jewish hikes or sustainable Shabbat potlucks!
