What Judaism Teaches About Our Justice System

Join us Friday August 2nd for a service, a dinner, and then a talk by Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser. He will share his own Jewish story that has led him to his current office as well as reflecting on Jewish ideas of justice in general.

Phil was elected Attorney General for the State of Colorado in the 2018 election. He is the Hatfield Professor of Law and Telecommunications and Dean Emeritus at the University of Colorado Law School and was the Executive Director and Founder of the Silicon Flatirons Center for Law, Technology, and Entrepreneurship. He previously served in the Obama and Clinton Administrations in the White House and Justice Department and following law school was law clerk to Justices Byron White and Ruth Bader Ginsburg at the U.S. Supreme Court.

Services at 6:00 pm, Dinner at 7:15 pm & talk from around 8:00 – 9:00 pm. BYOB Kosher wine or beer. Dinner is $18 per member, $21 per non-member. $54 max per family.
