Carole Wolfe Korngold, wife of Bob Korngold, mother of Rabbi Jamie Korngold and K.T. Korngold, grandmother of Rabbi Jamie’s children Sadie and Ori and K.T.’s children Sarah and Emma, passed away November 3rd at 6:07 pm. She died peacefully at home.
Funeral services will be held at Ft Logan National Cemetery on Wednesday, November 6, 2019. Enter the cemetery at 3698 S Sheridan Blvd, Denver, CO 80235. Guests must be at Staging Area C at 10:45 am. The service starts promptly at 11:15 am at Gazebo C. Rabbi Lynne Goldsmith will be officiating.
Shiva services will be held on Wednesday and Thursday night at Bob Korngold’s home, Morning Star Assisted Living, 575 Tantra Dr, Boulder, CO 80305 on the second floor. Guests are welcome to arrive at 6:30 pm. The service will begin at 7:00 pm. If the door is locked, please ring the bell. It is traditional to bring food and drink to share so that the family need not host. We hope many of Rabbi Korngold’s current past students will come and help with the service.
If it is your custom, gifts of Tzedakah can be made to the Carole W. Korngold “Morah Haya” scholarship fund. This fund will enable children whose families cannot afford it, to attend religious school, and honor Ms. Korngold’s passion for children, education, and community .
