Weekly Edition: November 23rd, 2018

Shabbat shalom. Hope you’re having a good Black Friday, but soon we’ll have Chanukah Tuesday, when the Har HaShem Gift Shop starts their annual Chanukah Bazaar.  Bookmark our Chanukah page for all the latest news.  Oh, and have a great Thanksgiving, too!

Meanwhile, stay cool, or warm, (it’s that time of year) and here are this week’s posts:

News

  • Sometimes, There’s God So Quickly ‍‍(11/22/2018) - 14 Kislev 5779 - A new poem from Lisa Tremback.
  • From Extinction To Eternity ‍‍(11/19/2018) - 11 Kislev 5779 - Rather extraordinary, I say to myself. Two very different personalities, Father Desbois and Stan Lee, take center stage of history on the very same calendar day!

About Editor

I'm David Fellows, and I've served as a writer, photographer and/or an editor on my junior high and high school newspapers; the Daily Trojan at USC (where I earned my journalism degree); the student newspaper at the Anderson School at UCLA (where I earned my MBA); and I've written and edited countless business documents and presentations in the ensuing twenty years. I was also a professional photographer from 1978 to 1988 (although you never really stop...). I've been involved Jewishly since my bris and in Boulder since 1995. I'm married to my Executive Director Cheryl, and we have two children, Lauren and Ethan.
