Hear the Ten Commandments and Receive a Free Ice Cream Squishy

Celebrate Shavuot and hear the Ten COMMANDMENTS just like we did at Mount Sinai!

The highlight of the Shavuot service is the Reading of the “Ten Commandments”.  Every year we experience anew the Sinaitic transmission of the Torah by G-d. Just as the Sinai event was attended by every Jewish man, woman, and child, so too, it is important to make an effort to be in Synagogue when the “Ten Commandments” are read.

Join us at Boulder Center for Judaism for a special Shavuos Minyan beginning at 10:30 am on Sunday, May 20, held at 4900 Sioux Drive, Boulder.

At 11:00 am, we will be hosting an interactive Shavuos program for kids, including making edible Mount Sinais and playing different Shavuot games.

Following services, enjoy a delicious array of dairy delights and ice cream.

These events are open to the Boulder Jewish Community and are free, but please rsvp by emailing boulderjudaism@gmail.com or 303 494 1638.

About Chany Scheiner

Co - Director of Boulder Center for Judaism. Any successful organization needs a heart and that is what Chany provides, along with organization, marketing, innovative programming, and countless Shabbat dinners. Some of her accomplishments are large and public like the annual menorah lighting on Pearl Street and the matzo and shofar factories, while others are quiet and private like the time she spends counseling individuals and sharing the wisdom that comes from study.
