Governor-Elect Jared Polis to Participate at Chanukah on Pearl

As we gear ourselves up to Chanukah, the Festival of Lights, we are so excited to inform you of a magical event, happening this coming Monday night December 3rd, here in Boulder at the Pearl Street Mall (1300 block) in front of the Courthouse at 5:30 pm.

This annual event, which has been growing in participants from year to year, will be celebrated with sufganiot (donuts), hot drinks and live music by Israeli musician, Eliyahu Namatiyov.  Enjoy Street Dancing by Noah of Poppin Agenda.  A special Chanukah gift will be given to the first 200 participants.

This year we will honor Bonni and Josh Raderman with lighting the giant Menorah.

The special Chanukah music begins at 5:30 pm. Eliyahu is a well known musician in Israel whose music is upbeat and he involves the crowd.

We will be joined by our very own Jewish Boulderite, Governor Elect Jared Polis. Come congratulate him on his election and join him as the Menorah is lit.

Chanukah on Pearl is sponsored by Boulder Center for Judaism and Boulder JCC as well as JEWISH Colorado, Boulder Jewish News, Oreg Foundation, Hazel Wines, Carolyn Bleicher of Remax, Bruce and Rhonda Wildman and Andy and Audrey Franklin.
