Food Rescue Feast ’18 Will Feature Indian Food

Food Rescue Feast ’18 Will Feature Indian Food

On Friday night, September 14th, from 6:00 -10:00 pm, Boulder Food Rescue is hosting their 6th annual fundraiser, the Food Rescue Feast. It will be an amazing event hosted at the Boulder Jewish Community Center, including an Indian Food Buffet, special fermented appetizers and deserts created by local chef Jordan Anderson, all you can drink bar, a silent auction, yard games and a photo bus! We will also have a farm tour starting at 6:15 pm. This kid-friendly event is open to all, and all proceeds go to Boulder Food Rescue.

Boulder Food Rescue works to redistribute healthy food to low-income community members, by bicycle. With the support of 150 volunteers, we redistribute 1,600 pounds of produce every day to over 37 recipient sites in Boulder alone.

About Staff

They call me "NewsHound IV," because I'm a clever Finnegan, sniffing out stories all over the Boulder area. I love Jewish holidays because the food is GREAT, especially the brisket. Well all the food. I was a rescue pup and glad to be on the scent!
