Boulder JFS Seeks Friendly Visitor Volunteers

Boulder JFS Seeks Friendly Visitor Volunteers

Give yourself and an older adult in the Boulder area a gift by becoming a Friendly Visitor volunteer through Boulder Jewish Family Service (JFS)! As a Friendly Visitor, you offer the best gift you can give another: friendship.

We individually match you with an older adult to provide companionship. Friendly Visitors and the older adults they visit spend time together in a variety of ways: take walks, run errands, visit in the elder’s home, or do whatever the person enjoys most and needs help with. Many times they get to know each other’s families and become great friends. We ask for a minimum commitment of six months.

Contact Ingrid Swords at Boulder JFS. 720.749.3403 or iswords@jewishfamilyservice.org for more details.
