Boulder JCC Hosts 17th 9Health Fair

The Boulder JCC is proud to host a 9Health Fair on Wednesday, April 25, 2018. We will welcome hundreds of community members to our building for a variety of health services for the 17^th year. It is truly an honor for the Boulder JCC to be able to host such an extraordinary event. Here’s some of what the 9Health Fair is all about:

• Ensuring your health. It is crucial for everyone to make sure they are as healthy as they feel.
• Affordability. The 9Health Fair gives many community members who could not otherwise afford medical tests the chance to get this important information.
• Convenience. Instead of going to multiple doctors, schedule tests at the Boulder JCC’s 9Health Fair so you can spend more time enjoying our city’s sunshine.
• Being part of the community! The Boulder JCC is an essential part of the local Jewish family and hosting the 9Health Fair is one of the ways we give back!

Basic screenings include a 29-component Blood Chemistry for $35, Blood Count Screening for $25, and HgbA1C blood screening for $35. Other blood screenings offered include PSA ($35), Vitamin D ($50), Vitamin B12 ($20), and Testosterone ($40). The Boulder JCC site will also offer RA Screenings at no cost.

Other free screenings will be available but limited and will close promptly at noon. These stations include foot, skin, lung function, foot, and breast screenings.

Based on the most current research findings, the 9Health Fair Medical Advisory Committee has determined that fasting is not required (optional) for blood screenings. People with diabetes should not fast. Check with your medical provider for specific recommendations. You are encouraged to drink plenty of water and continue to take prescription medications.

We look forward to having hundreds of people go through our doors on April 25th for these reasons and more. It is a privilege for us to welcome the community and we hope that you will get as much out of the 9Health Fair as we do!
