Adventure Rabbi - Bar & Bat Mitzvah Class

Adventure Judaism (aka Adventure Rabbi) Launches New Mitzvah Class

Adventure Judaism (previously known as Adventure Rabbi) is launching a new “Mitzvah Class” for Bar and Bat Mitzvah students. The class will run from January 2019 until December 2019.

The Mitzvah Class will focus on community – community service, the Jewish community, and building our own community. Our year will be filled with community service projects designed to cultivate our sense of responsibility for the world around us.

We will also explore our place in the Jewish community and strengthen our community building skills as we create a cohesive and kind community of our own.

This class is ideal for the student who enjoys a social setting and is ready to cultivate a sense of responsibility. Like our beloved Adventure B’nai Mitzvah Class, we still do a lot outside, but our outdoor activities are bit less intense!

The class will be taught by Rabbi Jamie, with Hebrew lessons taught by Shana Webb (in our office) and Janiece Gratch (online).

Says Rabbi Jamie,” I’m really excited about this new class. We always have a waiting list for our Adventure Class, and this will expand our capacity to accommodate all the students who want to be in our program.”

Please help spread the word or call Rabbi Jamie with questions. Read more about it here.
