A Front Row Seat at Idina Menzel’s Life

“Rent,” “Wicked,” “Glee,” “Frozen.” These four titles alone convey the astounding success of Idina Menzel and her dazzling role as a modern musical marvel. As her chart-topping resume reveals, Menzel may be the best-known voice in musical theater today, especially among young audiences.
Idina’s sister Cara Mentzel, who lives in Boulder, has just published a memoir about her famous sibling, and invites audiences to share her front row seat at the real-life show starring her sister. Join Cara to hear the story of one younger sister growing up in the shadow of a larger-than-life older sister – looking up to her, wondering how they were alike and how they were different and, ultimately, learning how to live her own life and speak in her own voice on her own terms.
A special evening for women, couples, and families. Book signing and dessert reception to follow the author talk.
