Talia Squarer Helps “A Precious Child” for Her Mitzvah Project, Asks for Donations

On April 8th, Talia Squarer will become a Jewish adult and have opportunities to be a leader in the Jewish community.  During the period leading up to her Bat Mitzvah, Talia learned much about Judaism and is looking forward to leading the community in prayers.  She is happy to gather with the Bonai Shalom community, her friends and family in this celebration, which will be held at the Boulder JCC on April 8th.

For Talia’s mitzvah project she is gathering shoes and clothes for children living in poverty as part of her work with A Precious Child. Talia asks that members of the community bring gently used clothes and shoes for children ages 6-16 to her donation bin at Congregation Bonai Shalom. Talia says:

“This is a very important project for me because I believe that all kids should have opportunities to do the things they want to do and be the people they want to be.”
