Musical Kabbalat Shabbat and Potluck Dinner at Bonai Shalom

Musical Kabbalat Shabbat and Potluck Dinner at Bonai Shalom

Do you like music? Do you like Shabbat?

If you answered yes to either of those questions Congregation Bonai Shalom’s Musical Kabbalat Shabbat service is for you. The summer is winding down, but don’t worry, the next Musical Kabbalat Shabbat is August 18th. At 6:00 pm, services will be led by Rabbi Marc Soloway and many a sweet-sounding community musician. After jamming with instruments like the guitar, mandolin, and drums, the Maariv service will be soulful a cappella.

But wait there’s more after the service: stay for a potluck dinner (vegetarian, nut-free and labeled if possible.) Bonai Shalom will provide homemade challah, grape juice and some compostable dinnerware and utensils. Please, feel free to bring your own food, drink, and plates. Be there or be square.
