“Just in Time for Rosh HaShanah”

The Colorado Hebrew Chorale will present “Just in Time for Rosh HaShanah” on Thursday evening, Sept. 14, 2017, 6 pm at Kavod Senior Life, 22 S. Adams Street, Denver, CO 80209.  The program will be reprised on Friday morning, Sept. 15, 2017, 10 am at Flatirons Terrace at Golden West, 930-28th Street,  Boulder.  These programs will be presented just a few days prior to the Jewish New Year, which begins on Wednesday evening, Sept. 20. They will feature shofar blasts (from a ram’s horn) together with holiday favorites and other musical selections in Hebrew, Yiddish, and English.

Formed in 1993, the Colorado Hebrew Chorale, under the direction of Carol Kozak Ward,  literally gives voice to the Jewish experience through song. Appearing on the Top Choirs in Denver listing compiled by CBS Denver, the Chorale performs everywhere, from libraries to senior centers, bringing its unique repertoire to diverse audiences around the state. Additional funding in support of the Colorado Hebrew Chorale’s activities is provided by SCFD, the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District.
