Join JGSCO for Denver Public Library Genealogy Field Trip

James Jeffrey

Please join Jewish Genealogical Society of Colorado (JGSCO) for our first program of the year on Tuesday, September 12th.  James Jeffrey will provide a guided tour of the Genealogy Section of the Denver Public Library.  Explore the DPL’s resources for your family history research.  We did this tour a few years ago, had a great turnout, and James Jeffrey was a wonderful host!  Even if you’ve done the tour before, there is sure to be something new for you to see and learn!  Please be sure to RSVP (to enews@jgsco.org).

James Jeffrey:
James K. Jeffrey has been with the Denver Public Library since 1985.  He is the Special Collections Librarian for Genealogy in the Western History/Genealogy Department at the Denver Public Library.  He was the 2004 recipient of the P. William Filby Award for Excellence in Genealogical Librarianship from the National Genealogical Society, and is a past president of Wales, Ireland, Scotland, England Family History Society, the Colorado Council of Genealogical Societies and The Society of Rocky Mountain Archivist.  He is passionate about connecting researchers with resources to explore their ancestors and the world in which they lived.
