The Colorado Hebrew Chorale and its women’s choir, Kol Nashim announce open rehearsals to take place on Monday, Aug. 21, 2017 and Monday, Aug. 28, 2018, at the Hebrew Educational Alliance, 3600 S. Ivanhoe St. Denver, CO 80237.
The Colorado Hebrew Chorale is beginning its 25th season and seeks qualified singers ages 13 and up in all voice parts. Previous experience is not required. These rehearsals will begin at 7:30 pm and end at 9:30 pm.

Kol Nashim is beginning its 5th season and seeks qualified female singers ages 13 and up in all voice parts. Previous experience is not required. These rehearsals will be begin at 5:45 pm until 7:15 pm.
On Monday, Aug. 28, Denver composer and singer Julie Geller will present a workshop at the rehearsal beginning at 6:30 pm. Denver native Julie Geller is saving the world one song at a time with original, uplifting music. She has been releasing a new song and music video every month since June of 2013. Julie has sung in a number of choirs, spanning the range from classical to gospel to barbershop, and is thrilled by the opportunity to write a work for women’s voices, which will be premiered by Kol Nashim. Julie’s piece will tie into the theme of women in Judaism with Biblical portions that relate to women and with poetry by Israeli women.
