Project Updates:
Pollution in the Kidron – Bernard will reflect on his observations from his summer trip to the region where he examined the constructed wetlands in Al Ubeidiya.
Electronic Waste Management – Nidal will discuss his recent trip to the region and reflect on what needs to be done.
SIPP returns to Israel and the West Bank – Bernard and Peter Ornstein will “walk the wadis” in January to better understand the path of the pollution contaminating Mar Saba Monastery’s cisterns.
Other projects in the works – School pairing, recycling, internship with Eco-Cycle, joint refurbishment training, electronic waste Education Center in Idnah.
