Tom Ellis, father of Steve Ellis, and Manny Talkovsky, step-father of Steve Ellis, both passed away in the last 10 days from illness. Both Steve and his wife Cathy Summer have spent much of the summer with them and Steve’s family.
Steve will be sitting shiva on Sunday, Aug. 27, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm. There will be a brief service at 6:00 pm, and people are strongly encouraged to come earlier if possible so that Steve is surrounded by people equally throughout the 3-hour shiva period. (We’ll definitely have enough people for a minyan). This will take place at Steve and Cathy’s home, 2195 Topaz Drive.
