Baruch Dayan Ha’emet: Helene Kornfeld z”l

I am sad to inform you that Gary (Avraham) Kornfeld’s mother passed away on July 17, 2017 in Scranton, Pennsylvania and was buried there Wednesday. Helene Kornfeld (Hindy bat Sarah) was 83 years old and an extremely loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, devoted to family and, according to Avraham, the home she created inspired him to live a Jewish life.

Avraham will end the shiva back in his home in Gunbarrel with gatherings and minyanim on Sunday and Monday6:30 – 8:30 pm at 4623 Greylock Street, Boulder, 80301

Helene is mourned by her devoted husband of 63 years, Harold Kornfeld, Gary and his four sisters, eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren, Helene’s brother Barry and all their families.
May her neshama be at peace and her memory a blessing
Hamakom y’nachem – strength and comfort to Avraham and to all of the family among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
Blessings,
Rabbi Marc
