Our Offbeat Exploration series for Spring 2016 focuses on the personal journey, “Who am I and where do I fit in?” Although you do not have to participate in all three series it is highly encouraged. Within each 2-part series we will delve into understanding our own identities on a deeper level and how we are connected to the greater community at large. While keeping multiple Jewish lenses in mind throughout we will use several modalities such as media and technology, hands on activities, cross-cultural discussions, and peer led activities.
1.2 (February 23rd) – The second session of Politics and Race in America will empower participants with “Call to Action” methods that can be used on a local level as well as other resources that are available to learn more on this topic. We will explore White Privilege and what it means to be an Ally.
**It is not required to have been at the first session to attend the second session!!**
