Have you figured out summer plans? Do you want to be a part of the first program at the new Boulder JCC building on Cherryvale and Arapahoe? Hopefully you’ve seen the building being constructed over the past few months. We want to give you a preview of the first program to put the new JCC facility to use, Cherryvale Day Camp.

Over the past four years we have built our Specialty Camp program to the point where last year we had over 300 campers here throughout the summer. We will be continuing our Specialty Camp program, and bringing back some of your favorite camp options, including Legos ®, Challenge Island, Girls Leadership, CU Science Discovery, Camp Cursive, and farm camps, as well as some exciting new options. Our specialty camps are half-day programs (9:00 am – noon & 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm) with options to stay extend your day (more details below). The Specialty Camp season runs from May 31 through August 12. In addition, the Boulder JCC is excited to announce the inaugural season of it’s very own full-day camp, Cherryvale Day Camp. At Cherryvale Day Camp, campers will be exposed to a variety of activities, including sports, creative arts, farm and garden activities at Milk and Honey Farm, electives, a weekly trip to a swimming pool, and more! We create a vibrant, enriching, and fun summer camp experience for children ages 5-12, that is rooted in Jewish values and welcomes campers of all backgrounds, races, and religions. Cherryvale Day Camp runs from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm and starts on June 6 and runs through August 5. Find more information about our Cherryvale Day Camp program here.

The Boulder JCC is aiming to be a one-stop shop for all of your summer camp needs. In addition to our Specialty Camps, and Cherryvale Day Camp, we will have extended day options where you can drop off your children as early as 7:30 am and pick them up as late at 5:30 pm. Want to do a specialty camp in the morning but need a full day option? No need to fret, join us for our “Afternoons at Cherryvale” option where campers get a taste of what our day camp is all about after their morning specialty.

In addition to all of our camp offerings, we are hiring our very own counselors for the first time. Are you looking for summer work? Do you want to help shape the traditions and rituals during the inaugural season of our own day camp? We are hiring counselors (must be 18+) and Jr. Counselors (must be 16+) for the summer.
