Living Waters: Explore the Ancient Jewish Practice of Mikvah

IMG_0080Join Rabbi Ruthie Gelfarb to explore the ancient ritual of mikvah and its rediscovery by liberal Jews. Jews immerse to celebrate moments of joy (i.e. marriage, bar/bat mitzvah), to heal after times of illness (completing cancer treatment, miscarriage), or to mark transitions (retirement, divorce). Explore how mikvah can be part of your spiritual practice.

This upcoming class will meet twice – on Wednesday, May 18 and Sunday, May 22. The first meeting will take place at Congregation Har HaShem, and the second meeting will take place at a local Boulder mikvah. For more information on this class, please see www.harhashem.org. The cost for both classes is $25. Please click here to register.
