The Adventure Rabbi Program is delighted to announce that Elaine Barenblat has accepted the promotion to run our Alternative Religious School, Adventure Rabbi Kids. “With the explosive growth of our community, we’ve had to figure out a way to meet both the needs of our local students and our international on-line students,” explains founder Rabbi Jamie Korngold.

Rabbi Evon Yakar, who started the Adventure Rabbi’s alternative school several years ago, will be devoting his time more fully to their distance learning program, which is also growing at an incredible rate. Elaine takes the reigns as the Director of Adventure Rabbi Kids and will begin to mentor other leaders.

Elaine Barenblat is a beloved teacher in the Boulder community, who is known for her down-to-earth style and effusive energy. “I don’t know how she get’s my kid to study without complaining but she does. He actually looks forward to learning with her,” remarked one mother who wished to remain anonymous so as to not annoy her 13-year old.
